Andrew Jones, Emerging Leaders Co-Facilitator
Raised in Portland, ICL EMERGING LEADERS Program co-facilitator Andrew Jones first began serving on a nonprofit board at the age of 18, became co-chair, and has continued to serve on various boards and committees since. The board service, volunteering and leadership roles in his teens led to speaking, presentation, facilitation and training engagements locally and nationally.
Andrew was nominated at age 20 to attend ICL’s Leadership Intensive and completed the program as the youngest member in its history. He highly recommends the Leadership Intensive to anyone looking to continue to build their skills around facilitation, management, leadership, working in teams and civic engagement. At age 21, he was asked to come work for a nonprofit to create and coordinate a new program.
Presently, Andrew is continuing to build on his eight years of experience consulting for organizations and agencies. He is honored to be a part of the ICL EMERGING LEADERS Program, and is excited for the participants to discover the opportunities, find the new doors that can open, and receive the gifts that serving on a board can bring.
"The transformation of our firm after the ICL Leadership Intensive was incredible. To actually be given tools to help me organize the process; now we have a way to almost guarantee a predictable outcome. It's not 'maybe..."
